How to stay fit as a fiddle
Not everyone can wake up every day feeling energized and motivated to put in the hard work that it takes to stay fit.
Some people, like me and you, need the extra motivation to go to the gym, complete workout sets and generally stay on track with our fitness goals. It is sometimes very challenging to push yourself to start a home workout or go to the gym – trust me, I know. So, let's set ourselves up for success.
Staying fit and healthy is very important. Here are some simple tips to help you feel on top of the world.
- An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables every day. They are full of vitamins and will help you stay strong.
- Break a sweat by exercising. Go for a walk, run, or do yoga. Exercise makes you feel happy and healthy.
- You are what you eat. Eat good food like salads, nuts, and fish. Avoid junk food like chips and candy.
- Get some shut-eye. Sleep for 7-8 hours every night to give your body time to rest.
- Don’t burn the candle at both ends. Don’t work too hard without relaxing. Stress can make you sick.
- Laughter is the best medicine. Spend time with friends and do things that make you laugh.
- Drink like a fish, but with water! Stay hydrated by drinking 8 glasses of water a day.
